Well I just got 20" or so of snow last night. It's crazy, at the max we get maybe 3-4 inches. All of PA is in state of national emergency and everyone is barred from going anywhere

About 20 inches in the side parking space

Front mailbox, about window height of a car

Walking the dog. The side street was not plowed at all. My dog is also a large dog at 64 pounds and not sure of height. She had to see what was down the street, so she jumped her front paws onto the snow bank

We had a massive winter storm on January 21st. A whole 3 inches of rain, which is something like our yearly average here in Phoenix. Of course, that may sound mild to some, but in Arizona the ground is really hard and can't take on much water, so flooding occurs very easily. The governor declared a state of emergency for the day, and a tornado watch was issued for what I believe was the first time in Phoenix history.

It did give me this wallpaper, too:

Edit: What I'm saying is we have nothing on you now, but I doubt anyone will be able to beat our average highs for June, July, or August. tongue.gif

Wanna swap weather? We'd gladly take some of that snow off your hands.

Sure. Take everything I'm getting. It's gotten to the point where you can't shovel becasue the snow banks are about eye level and ther's no place to put teh snow

Intresting fact: Average snowfall in the pittsburgh area is 40" for the entire winter. The past 40 days of this new year we got 57.4"

El Nino is really doing it's thing! Here in Vancouver spring is 2 weeks early. The cherry blossoms started a week or two ago and freezing level is so high that most of the snow melted off 2 of the Olympic Snowboarding venues. I'm hoping the other part of an El Nino year is not as severe. In the West it means more rain and cooler temps in the summer.
